Actually he was right about the LAPD in his comments about the RFK conspiracy and also about Manson - in his book on that case he acknowledges that the official LAPD investigation totally failed until a couple of officers who were out of the loop decided a source they had was telling the truth and made an issue of it. Yet knowing the pitfalls of those police investigations he presents no challenges to the work of the DPD or FBI on the JFK assassination - very strange.
