Welcome - Please Read...
First - the legalistic mumbo-jumbo:

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used for confirming your registration details and password or details of new passwords should you forget your current one. Your email address may also be used to send notification of post updates should you require notification.

Now, the more immediately relevant rules of this forum:

Many places online for JFK debate are heavily censored by the Pro-Warren Commission crowd. Even online forums that aren't apparently controlled still end up biased against critics. This is not one of those places. Unlike many forums, you will not be banned merely for your opinion, only for your actions. Reasonable debate will certainly be allowed, however - there are a few simple rules:

No gratuitous personal insults will be allowed... the post will be deleted, and you will be warned. This applies to WCR Critics as well as WCR Believers. If you need a definition of “gratuitous insults,” then you shouldn’t bother to post here. You’ll be warned, until I see that warnings are ignored, then you’ll be banned. This forum isn’t a democracy, it’s intended to demonstrate that WCR Believers cannot defend the evidence.

There are two obvious exceptions to that rule of no “gratuitous personal insults”... if someone lies about the evidence, or refuses to address the points you raise. These two exceptions are not considered gratuitous, as they are provoked by actual actions. These are “insults” which are based entirely on posting history.

To label someone a liar in this forum, a specific lie must be posted here. This must be a lie about the evidence itself, and not merely an opinion about the evidence. There is no requirement needed to address whether they knew it was a lie, or whether it was intentional. Such a charge must be supported by quoting the lie, and citing the evidence - or a warning will be issued.

As an example: In another forum, the claim was made that the Mannlicher Carcano could be recycled in 1.6 seconds... this is in conflict with the known evidence, and is an example of a lie. Anyone making that claim would merely be quoted, then the citation to the FBI testing of CE-139 showing the actual cycling time - then, and only then, may the offending poster be labeled a liar.

If you label someone a liar without both quoting their “lie,” and referencing a citation to the evidence, the post will be deleted, and you will be warned. Once a lie is established, you can refer to it repeatedly in the future without both quoting and citing. If, however, the original poster retracts the lie, he/she can no longer be referred to as a liar.

The charge of ’cowardice’ must be in relation to a point raised that a poster specifically has been asked, and has refused to give an answer. An answer given that is not adequate cannot be a justification for calling someone a coward, merely that they've inadequately addressed the issue. This ’raised point’ must be related to the original poster's topic. There are many issues in this case that not every person is competent enough to answer - thus cannot be labeled a coward merely for refusing to address a particular statement.

Everyone is entitled to the correct spelling & usage of their name. It's not a difficult thing to correctly refer to someone, even if you violently disagree with what they say. So please take the time to correctly spell & utilize a poster's given name.

Obvious violations of these rules will receive warnings, and the post deleted. Accidental or first-time violations may merely have the post re-written by a moderator.

Please keep obscenity off these forums, this is debate on the evidence. This includes using asterisks to try to hide the correct spelling of an obscenity.

As this is a new forum, rules may have to be adjusted as time goes by - they will be posted here.

Everyone will start as a 'New Registered' User - to upgrade your status, fill out your profile. Be sure to check the box declaring your stance as Critic, Supporter, or Fence-sitter.

No-one will have full status without submitting a photo. Avatars (photos) should be no larger than 90px by 90px... If you don't know how to set up an Avatar, I'll be happy to help - simply send me a photo and I'll do the graphic work needed.

Real names preferred, but pseudonyms are acceptable.

As this is a new forum, and undoubtedly there will be problems, simply PM me with any issues, and I'll try to resolve them as fast as possible.
