Full Version: Evidence Against Transit...

That a bullet striking JFK must have completely gone through his body is absolutely essential to the Warren Commission's theory. This is known as 'transit' ... however, there's quite a bit of evidence against any transiting bullet, and only speculation to favor it.

It's important to understand this - THERE IS NO DIRECT EVIDENCE FOR TRANSIT - only speculation. One such speculative bit of "evidence" is the bruise to the apical portion of JFK's lung... but this could have been easily, and most credibly explained as a result of the bullet that entered the front of JFK's throat, and ranged downward... as the Parkland doctors presumed (and treated JFK on that basis!)

Transit is an ABSOLUTE requirement for the lone assassin theory...

The evidence suggests the opposite.

  • The depth of the wound.
  • The location of the wound.
  • The missing interior chest photo.
  • The original description of the throat wound.
  • The original autopsy describing a different explanation for the throat wound. (Rankin)
  • The size of the wound in comparison to it's supposed "exit".
  • The complete lack of any metal found on the front of the shirt & tie.
  • The missing report & testimony of Stombaugh.
  • The earliest attempts to explain the frontal shot (Life Magazine, Mandel's article)

A prediction easily made is that no believer will address all of this evidence ... or present their own that supports their faith.
  • The depth of the wound.
Not an issue - they did not know the throat wound was a bullet wound at Bethesda. Strap muscles in the back can close up - which is why the entry did not track through. This is common,
  • The location of the wound.
There are no issues with the location of the back wound.
  • The missing interior chest photo.
Agreed, this is unacpetable
  • The original description of the throat wound.
Irrelevant, at a glance it could have been either an entry or exit by view as Perry stated later.
  • The original autopsy describing a different explanation for the throat wound. (Rankin)
You mean a trach...?
  • The size of the wound in comparison to it's supposed "exit".
There are no issues with teh size of either wound in the back and neck.
  • The complete lack of any metal found on the front of the shirt & tie.
Why would this be expected....have you got stats...?
