CBS vs Warren Commission - Ben Holmes - 06-08-2016

Yeah, but not the one "Oswald" used, which was very difficult to recycle. They used a smooth-working Carcano. God, do you read nothing about this case?

It's not surprising that believers absolutely refuse to discuss the only real test ever conducted... the one commissioned by the Warren Commission.

They actually used the same rifle, CE-139; that they allege that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK with.

And despite these facts:
  • They were given all the time they wanted for the first shot (the assassin didn't have this ability)
  • They were firing from only HALF the height, 30 ft. rather than 60 ft.
  • They were firing at stationary, oversized targets.
  • They had immensely more shooting experience & skill than LHO.
... the three shooters were still unable to hit the head or neck of the target utilizing the scope - as the Warren Commission claimed LHO had.

Now, why was this test so much less successful than the CBS test?

Could it possibly be that the Mannlicher Carcano that CBS used was in far better shape?

And can even a single believer publicly admit this fact?

Re: CBS vs Warren Commission - Patrick C - 06-09-2016

As a marine Ben are you really telling us that a 24 year old ex marine could not get off 2 shots with a Carcano in 5.2 seconds approx at 65 and 88 yards.....

I believe I have NEVER had a straight answer from you on this.........

Forget the 3 shots in 5.2 seconds and do not assume Oswald used the scope....

And YES the CBS Carcano was probably in full working order.....BUT........care to review what Frazier said about the Oswald MC........? IMO it is a MYTH that that gun was a piece of crap. It was a lethal weapon at 500 yards never mind 100....

As a former Marine, I'm TELLING YOU that a 24 year old former Marine, with the rifle scores he documented, could not possibly have beaten three NRA rated "Masters".

Anytime you care to try to refute that fact...
