Believers Believe Anything... - Ben Holmes - 06-22-2016 R. Anderson Wrote:Willy Whitten Wrote:JFK did NOT order the agents off the bumpers in Dallas but somebody did and this is clearly seen in the film of the limousine leaving Love Field. And anyone familiar with this case knows exactly the footage I am referring to.That is ambiguous. Let's take a look at what a believer thinks is "ambiguous"... I've long held the opinion that believers will believe anything so long as it supports their faith. I've never personally met anyone who thought that this video was "ambiguous"... and I've shown it to a number of people. Perhaps I just hang around the wrong crowd... Re: Believers Believe Anything... - Patrick C - 06-23-2016 JFK did NOT order the SS agent off the limo at Love Field. AND if he did...so what! And it was not Rybke...(sorry spelling may not be correct)....DVP deals with this event on his web pages. The guy was due a shift break. Simple....... I must say that your reply illustrates the thread title perfectly. Presidential events are planned weeks, and even months in advance in extreme detail. Yet just as a new city is being visited... oops... let's give a couple of Secret Service Agents a "shift break". This also accidentally demonstrates a lack of reading skills. No-one in this forum has suggested that JFK ordered the two SS agents off. Believers believe anything... Patrick, I wonder if you could confirm that you really believe that the two Secret Service Agents were simply taking a "shift break"... Re: Believers Believe Anything... - Patrick C - 06-24-2016 I can certainly confirm that the agent at Love Field was instructed to take his break. This comes from one of Clint Hill and or Gerald Baine with Lisa McGubbin as I recall at the 6th floor museum with Gary Mack in 2012 or 2013. And yes....agents did operate to shifts and did take breaks. And NO, the secret service were categorically NOT involved in any conspiracy on that day. Unless you FOREVER forswear any derogatory reference to testimony & statements from decades later, you aren't allowed to use it either. We have a CONTEMPORARY film showing obvious amazement at the change in plans. You can't explain it... you've not even TRIED to explain it. We have provably false reports that claim agents serving where they didn't. Once again, you well illustrate the theme of this thread... that believers will believe anything that supports their faith. Patrick C Wrote:And yes....agents did operate to shifts and did take breaks. No-one has claimed that they didn't. Only that *THIS* is a time and place that makes your "shift break" claim quite laughable. Patrick C Wrote:And NO, the secret service were categorically NOT involved in any conspiracy on that day. An opinion on your part, and not supported by the evidence. Re: Believers Believe Anything... - Patrick C - 06-24-2016 Oh so you think the Secret Service were involved with a plot to kill JFK....! Is that some kind of a joke? There is ZERO evidence the service were involved in an assassination plot. In your dreams. The agent at Love Field was probably disappointed at being left out. Nothing more. Re: Believers Believe Anything... - Ben Holmes - 06-24-2016 Patrick C Wrote:Oh so you think the Secret Service were involved with a plot to kill JFK....! Once again, you illustrate the point I raised. Believers will believe anything. [that supports their faith in the Warren Commission] I find it amusing that you think this is some sort of "joke" - the theory of Secret Service involvement isn't a secret, it's widely published in numerous books. There PROVABLY was a Secret Service coverup... as I'm quite sure you'll acknowledge. While not proving SS complicity, it certainly supports it. And, were I you, Patrick, I'd keep my mouth shut about the agent at Love field... the more you talk about it, the more laughable this becomes. You're now making the assertion that events of this sort weren't planned. That every agent didn't know when and where he was supposed to be. Is that some kind of joke? And yet if it were the other way around Patrick, you'd say, "It's possible he knew something wasn't right." Yes, sensationalist books in which it is presented as a theory in which there is no proof. Ben Holmes Wrote:There PROVABLY was a Secret Service coverup... as I'm quite sure you'll acknowledge. While not proving SS complicity, it certainly supports it. Depends what you mean by a cover up - I would not call washing the crime scene a cover up if that is what you mean. I thought anyway you wanted this forum to be a serious one...?
