The backstory of a photo - Nick Principe - 06-25-2016 One image I've always been fascinated by is this famous photo taken at Amarillo Air Force Base during the 1960 campaign: [attachment=27] Does anyone know the backstory of this photo, or why LBJ appears so enraged here? It looks like Kennedy is trying to corral a wild animal ( a prescient image in retrospect). Re: The backstory of a photo - Patrick C - 06-25-2016 Excellent photo, I have never seen that before..... Both LBJ and Ladybird look pretty bonkers in that image. |
