Also no comment at all about Buell's apparent dishonesty. Whence might that have arisen? The remark about the Carcano is, I admit, speculation on the part of the writer, and quite possibly not true. Cringeworthy, though?

Truth is often arrived at by speculating outrageous things.

I guess I should be pleased that Patrick did not call me more stupid than stupid, or make some comment about fairies in my garden, but I find the comment about valuing my credibility almost as bad.

In a discussion of the issues, the discussants themselves should not become topics. I request that Patrick follow the rules of civility he so often asks for. I have not insulted him here, nor do I plan to. I ask him to please stop insulting me.

And I ask that in a post such as the one I made that he not cherry-pick one weak item and ignore the rest, as if this is an argument he has to win. Several issues are raised here and are worth talking about.

So what about Buell's honesty, Patrick? Got any comments about that?
