Re: A remark by David Von Pein
DVP said: "We should, instead, rely on Internet super sleuths like Ben Holmes, Willy Whitten, James DiEugenio, Anthony Marsh, Sean Murphy, Gil Jesus, Ralph Cinque, William Kelly, Dawn Meredith, Albert Doyle, Donald Willis, and Walt Cakebread (et al) to tell us all the true facts about how President Kennedy died."
This is, of course, the famous shoot the messenger reaction to bad news. It's far easier to blame the poster than it is to deal with the evidence in this case.
The fact that Vincent Bugliosi flat lied about the "ragged" nature of JFK's throat wound being a perfect example.
Bugliosi made the claim that both Perry & Carrico had stated that the original bullet wound in JFK's throat was "ragged" - yet couldn't quote any such thing.
And here, over 50 years later, neither can David Von Pein. But neither can David state publicly that Vincent Bugliosi acted like a prosecutor rather than an historian when he told this lie in support of the WCR.
And that fact tells the tale.
